Terms of Service

Effective date: 16 July 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of NexBill. By creating an account, using the service, or paying for a subscription, the customer agrees to these terms.

1. Service Overview

NexBill is a subscription-based invoicing and billing management platform. The service helps customers create and manage invoices, clients, products, invoice templates, billing records, subscription plans, and related business workflows.

NexBill is provided as a web-based software service. Features may vary by subscription plan.

2. Accounts and Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate account, business, billing, and contact information. Customers are also responsible for keeping login details secure and for activity that occurs under their account.

Customers must ensure that invoices, client records, product records, payment details, and other information entered into NexBill are accurate, lawful, and authorized for use.

3. Subscription Plans and Pricing

NexBill offers Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. Self-service paid plans are billed monthly in South African Rand. Current pricing is displayed on the NexBill website before checkout.

Enterprise pricing is quoted based on business requirements such as invoice volume, users, WhatsApp usage, onboarding needs, support requirements, and custom integration work.

4. Payments

Payments for NexBill subscriptions may be processed through Paystack or another supported payment provider. By submitting payment information, customers authorize the applicable subscription charge and any recurring charges shown before checkout.

A paid workspace is upgraded after successful payment. Access to paid features remains available while the subscription is active and payment obligations are met.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Customers may cancel a NexBill subscription from the billing area of their account or by contacting NexBill support.

Cancellation stops future recurring charges after cancellation has been processed. Fees already paid for a billing period are not automatically refunded.

Read the full NexBill Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

Customers may not use NexBill for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, harmful, or unauthorized activity. Customers may not attempt to interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the service.

NexBill may suspend or restrict access where account activity creates security, legal, payment, or operational risk.

7. Data and Privacy

Customers retain responsibility for the business data they enter into NexBill. NexBill uses customer data to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service.

Customers must only upload or process personal information where they have the right to do so and must comply with applicable data protection laws.

8. Availability and Changes

NexBill aims to provide a reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, third-party services, internet outages, payment providers, hosting providers, or events outside NexBill's control.

NexBill may update features, plan limits, pricing, or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on the website or communicated through appropriate account channels.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexBill is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

NexBill's total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service in the three months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Contact

For support, billing questions, cancellation requests, refund requests, or questions about these terms, customers can contact NexBill at info@nbtechworks.com.
